General Studio Policies.

You acknowledge that utilisation of services of the Company by participating in any sport or physical activity may result in accident or injury. In this regard, you hereby agree to accept all the risks arising from participating in such sports or exercises of the Company.

You confirm that you are in good health and suffer from no disease or congenital disease which would prevent you from utilisation of services and you hereby declare that you do not conceal any information regarding congenital disease or health from the Company which would result in refusal of my membership.

You acknowledge that the Studio does not provide medical or nursing services including medical diagnosis for any physical conditions.

Furthermore, you acknowledge that exercising and usage of all equipment, studio, including lockers provided by the Company may result in risk or danger.

Therefore, by this membership application, you agree to accept all the risks and agree that Absolute HK Limited of Companies (the “Company”), by their shareholders, authorised directors, representatives and employees shall not be liable for your injury, illness, death or damages of my property which may be directly or indirectly arisen from utilisation of services at every studio of Absolute HK Limited and all other locations (the “Studio”).

We reserve the right to change and amend the Studio Policies from time to time, without prior notice or announcement. 

    • Members have to sign for utilising the services and studio at the front desk every time.

    • Absolute does not allow members or guests to drink intoxicant or alcoholic beverages, take narcotics before entering or bring such items into the Studio.

    • Absolute does not allow the member to enter or use the Studio if such person has a symptom of pestilence or contagious/communicable disease.

    • We reserve the right not to allow the staff or agents of the competitors’ companies to use our services and Studio and to deny entry for the above mentioned regulations.

    • We are pet-friendly! Provided there is someone (excluding Absolute staff) to look after your potty trained, domesticated pet throughout the entire duration in the studio. 

      Pets are strictly not allowed to be in classrooms to ensure safety and a conducive environment for all. 

      Please give us advanced notice by writing to hello@absoluteboutiquefitness.com.hk at least one day before you intend to bring your pet.

      Absolute is not responsible for looking after members’ pets. Owners are fully liable for any injuries or accidents that occur from/to their pets.

  • First Timers (at Absolute Boutique Fitness) must manually book a complimentary “Foundation 15” session along with your preferred class a safety precaution.

    This is mandatory for your first class in EACH class type. This requirement ensures your safety and helps you become familiar with our cues & sequences.

    We suggest wearing form-fitting leggings or shorts and a light breathable top.

    For Pilates, please make sure you bring your grip socks. They are mandatory for class and are available for purchase at our studio.

    For Cycle, towels and cycling shoes are provided at the studio. If you have your own shoes, our pedals are compatible with SPD-SL cleats.

  • Booking Window.

    Our booking opens at midnight daily, 8 days into the future.

     e.g. on Monday 1 Jan at midnight you can book any class the following week, Monday 8 Jan.

    To be fair to all members, all bookings have to be made on your own using the Absolute app or website. We are unable to book classes on your behalf.

    • If a class is full you will automatically get added to the waitlist if you book yourself in for that class.

    • The waitlist will automatically enrol you into the class up to 1 hour before the class.

    • You will automatically get assigned to the spot that becomes available.

    • If you wish to swap spots, you can do so when you arrive at the studio if another spot becomes available.


    What happens if you get added to the waitlist after the cancellation period?

    • If you get automatically added to the class from the waitlist after the cancellation window and you can't make it, it will be considered a no show and your credit(s) used to book will be deducted. Read more about our cancellation policy below.

    • You should only keep yourself on the waitlist if you are sure you want to attend the class.

    • If you are not sure you can still attend the class, it is best to remove yourself from the waitlist and choose to walk in.


    Walk-In Policy

    Members on the waitlist will not be automatically added to the class 1 hour before the class starts. In this case, you can choose to walk in and add yourself to the Walk-In Priority List 30 mins before class starts.

    Note:
    1. We only accept walk-ins 1 hour before the start of class (no earlier than that).
    2. Walk-ins are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
    3. You have to remain in the studio to keep your spot on the Walk-In Priority List.
    4. Spot selection is unavailable for walk-ins and you will be assigned the remaining spots available.

  • To ensure an optimal experience for all members attending the class, we have a strict late arrival policy at Absolute. Please make sure to familiarise yourself with our policies, to avoid disappointment.

    • Please arrive at the studio at least 15 minutes before the start of the class to get ready, and be in the designated room 3 minutes before class start.

    • We have the right to release your spot to members on the waitlist already present at the studio if you are not signed in or physically inside the room 3MIN before class starts.



    For example, the class starts at 12:00PM:

    If you have a confirmed booking and you arrive on or before 11:57am, you can still attend the class.

    If you have a confirmed booking and you arrive on or after 11:58am, your spot might be released to someone on the waitlist.

    • Your booking will be considered a No Show and will not be refunded to you.

    • Should you arrive on or after 3 min before class, and your spot has already been released, you will be assigned a spot by the front desk,(If any).

    • Should there be no more spots available, then your class will be considered a No Show.



    After the doors are closed and class has started, no one can enter the room.

    • No one is allowed into the designated room after class starts, even if you arrived earlier.

    • This is to ensure your safety and ensure there is no disruption to the class. So please make sure to keep track of time and/or stay close to the studio entrance

  • The deadline to cancel your class without any penalty is now 8 hours prior to your booked class. If you are unable to attend a class, please cancel 8 hours prior to the start of your booked class. Any cancellations less than 8 hours before your class will cost you the credit(s) used to book the class.


    What if I fell sick and did not cancel my class 8 hours prior to my class?

    1. Cancel the class via your account as soon as you know you're unable to make it.

    2. Drop an email to hello@absoluteboutiquefitness.com.hk with your medical certificate.

    3. Return of credits will only be allowed on the day you visit the doctor. Please cancel all subsequent bookings within the cancellation period if you are still feeling unwell.

    4. If there is no record of late cancellation and you did not show up for class, we are strictly not able to return credits.


    What if I get added to the waitlist less than 8 hours before the scheduled class, but cannot attend class?

    Your booking will be considered a no show and a credit will not be returned to you.

    • All customers are only permitted to have 1 account with us. This includes members who use Third Party Booking systems (e.g. Classpass) as well as have an active package with us.

    • We reserve the right to terminate duplicate accounts without notice or refund.

    • Only the owner of the package can use the credits in their account to attend classes.

    • Should you book a class and someone else turns up, they will be rejected and your booking will be considered a No Show and will not be refunded to you.

    • This applies to all users including those using Third Party Booking systems (e.g. Classpass)

    • We reserve the right to request your ID for verification.

    • All members need to create an account before any purchases can be made

    • All personal details must be filled out in order for your account to be valid

    • All accounts need to be created online

    • All accounts must have the following to be valid:

      • Full name

      • Mobile number

      • Email

      • Address

      • Emergency contact name and number

      • Liability waiver signed

      • Profile photo taken

    • We have the right to deny you entry into class if any of the above personal details have not been provided

    • Only the person whose personal information has been filled out can use this account

    • Your personal data will not be shared with anyone

    • Packages/contracts could be frozen twice per package with a valid medical certificate or flight itinerary (minimum 2 weeks, maximum 50% of the original package validity in totality, capped at 6 months) at an additional fee.

    • Package freezing fee: $500 per request.

    • Package extensions are strictly not allowed.

    • Freezing of packages applies to selected packages only. Refer to package T&Cs for more details.

    • The packages/contracts which you already purchased cannot in whatsoever case be refunded neither in part nor in full.

    • All packages/contracts purchased cannot be changed to any other type of packages.

    • All packages/contracts purchased are strictly non-transferable to another person.

    • Any lockers not cleared at the end of the day will be considered a security risk and we reserve the right to open and clear the contents of the locker.

    • Absolute will not be liable nor responsible for any loss or theft or damages of any items left in lockers and/or our premises.

    • Members are expected to use the services of the studio tidily and responsibly when using accessories such as equipment, towels, hair dryers, shower cubicles and lavatory.

    • Members who try to take the Company’s property out of the Studio may have their membership terminated and we reserve the right to initiate legal proceedings in the civil court or criminal court.

    • Members are required to follow all instructions by our staff and instructors.

    • Usage of mobile phones are strictly not allowed in class.

    • We reserve the right to ban members who do not comply with the instructions given by our staff and instructors.

    • We encourage all phones to be kept in lockers, Absolute is not liable for any loss or damage to your personal belongings.

    • Absolute reserves the right to change the class schedule, and timings.

    • Absolute reserves the right to close whether the whole or a part of the Studio for improvement or renovation or have any other reason to temporarily close the Studio, members agree not to claim for any compensation or damages or any other replacement in kind.

    • Members are expected to co-operate and behave in a polite manner when utilising the services in all branches of Absolute.

    • Our instructors have the authority to stop any member from participating in class if it is considered that it may cause injury or harm to the member or those in attendance. Members would then have to comply with the instructor’s instructions.

    • We reserve the right to ask any member who does not comply with our rules and regulations to leave the studio immediately.

    • By attending classes at our studio you confirm that you are of general good health, and that you have sought medical advice prior to attending classes at our studio. By purchasing a package and attending a class you agree to waive all liability to the company.

    • In the event that the Hong Kong Government issues Typhoon Signal No.8 (or higher), Black Rainstorm Signal, or declares Extreme Conditions before the studio's regular opening hours, the studio will not open. The studio will aim to resume operations within two hours after the Typhoon Signal No. 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered or when Extreme Conditions no longer prevail.

    • If the Typhoon Signal No. 8 (or higher) or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered, or Extreme Conditions cease to exist, within 3 hours before the last scheduled class, the studio will remain closed.

    • In case of a Pre-Typhoon Number 8 Special Announcement or the enforcement of Typhoon Signal No.8, Black Rainstorm Signal, or Extreme Conditions during regular opening hours, the studio will stay open until the ongoing class concludes. Subsequently, the studio will promptly close and aim to reopen within two hours after the signal is lowered.
